The role:
People:
managing a team of c15 (including Direct Hire Manager and Regional Leads) with indirect responsibility for 200+ branch hire managers and Area Sales Representatives
Budget:
managing turnover of £150m+
Metrics:
Performance of National Sales, Direct Hire, Managed Services, Regional Sales Team; and through the delivery of Hire Sales & Trading Profit Performance, Margin, Customer Participation, Rehire Performance / FM & Construction TP Contracts
Bringing sales leadership expertise and with experience of matrix management and influencing of other teams e.g. regional sales team you will of course be an excellent communicator, influencer and a high level negotiator. You will bring industry and sector market knowledge which will influence a network of sales specialists.
The development of the sales growth strategy for hire is your critical focus but you will also have people responsibilities - recruitment/inductions, performance reviews/management, coaching, objectives.
All the time balancing the needs and opinions of a diverse group of stakeholders yet ensuring that the strategic goals of Hire are met, whilst enabling the local requirements of RD's and the local branches; influencing branch behaviour and ways of working will be your forte.
