A Day in the Life


You will be part of a large and diverse team in which you will be supporting the delivery of water management solutions for the water environment.

This role will be based out of
Reading.


The team works on a large variety of projects, such as river restoration, natural flood management, river and waterways structures, surface water drainage, flood alleviation schemes, wetland design, flood risk management and river and coastal engineering.

If you enjoy problem solving and have a passion for climate change and sustainability, then this is the role for you

ABOUT YOU


You'll have a keen interest in flood risk, hydrology, hydraulics and water management, which is demonstrated through your studies and your extra-curricular activities.


  • You will have achieved or be on target to a Honours Degree in Civil Engineering, Geography or Environmental Science.
  • You will have relevant work experience gained through summer placements and internships.
  • Finally, you must be eligible to live and work in the UK at the time you start employment.

Land Aid


Every year we remove single-use plastics from our graduate and apprentice recruitment campaigns and instead using our budget in a more globally responsible way.

In 2019/20, an estimated 120,000 young people asked for help from their local council because they were homeless or at risk of homelessness.

It's a problem that LandAid are here to help tackle.


As the Property Industry Charity, LandAid unite over 200 organisations from across the sector, working together to bring an end to youth homelessness.
