Job Title: CAD Technician at PDM

To provide a Computer Aided Design (CAD) service primarily for utilities construction street works projects and assist in supporting planning and administrative roles within the business unit.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely delivery of all drawings and diagrams according to client specifications
  • Produce Red-line drawings, as-laid drawings, and trial trench/hole drawings
  • Create traffic management and multi-utility diversion works design drawings
  • Maintain client maintenance contracts database and undertake site surveys
  • Assist in training new staff and uphold health, safety, and quality practices

Skills Required:

  • Prior experience as a CAD technician with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure, prioritize tasks, and use AutoCAD for technical drawings
  • Proficiency in Microsoft software, Autodesk 3D Revit, and comprehensive self-checking capabilities

Qualifications:

  • Minimum C&G Level 2 certificate in Computer Aided Design (CAD)
