Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of technical equipment and other associated equipment for sales teams, customers, and end users.
  • Provision of technical support to customers and end users, via remote access or onsite.
  • Compilation and transmission of technical datasheets for new or existing projects.
  • Development and delivery of technical training for customers and sales teams.
  • Compilation and transmission of quotations where necessary.
  • Provision of support for quality, assembly, and service departments internally and externally.
  • Researching and developing new opportunities within new or existing markets.
  • Maintaining the technical library and keeping records of technical documents.
  • Liaising with suppliers on technical matters.
  • Supporting the quality departments by collecting and reporting details of new and emerging technical issues.
  • Take an active role in upholding the company health and safety policy.
  • Report any errors, accidents or near misses to the management team or a supervisor.
  • Communicate and cooperate with coworkers and management, working as a team to complete all tasks.
  • Keep punctual and regular hours of work, arriving promptly to start work on time.

Desired skills:

  • Highly motivated team player with good interpersonal skills and the ability to form good working relationships with people.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Good punctuality and time management
  • Ability to take initiative and to work under pressure with mínimal supervision
  • Must have HNC qualification in Mechanical/ Electrical engineering or Bachelor's degree
  • Or 5+ years' experience working in a similar role
  • CSCS card is desirable but not essential
