The main purpose of this role is to be r esponsible for promoting a

payment culture and managing

rent arrears process across all tenures and to provide

support to the Rent Team and to facilitate early intervention of rent arrears as well as maximise performance of former tenant arrears recovery.

Strong background in rent arrears management and recovery (Essential)

  • 1 Full-Time and 1 Part-Time Permanent Income Officer
  • 09:0017:00P.M (Hybrid-Working)
  • 30 days annual leave.
    Salary £3538,000 (Part time, prorata depending on experience)

Interviews will be face to face on 05/09/2023

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Drafting and serving
    NOSPS and issuing proceedings
  • Producing regular KPI reporting
  • Great understanding of social housing issues
  • Knowledge of best practice in income management and
    debt collection:
  • Knowledge of
    Housing and Welfare Benefits:
  • Computer literate understanding of spreadsheets and ability to use various software packages
  • A working knowledge of legislation and the regulatory requirements relevant to the department
  • The ability to manage a varied and busy workload to meet
    targets and
    deadlines:
  • High level of numeracy and literacy
  • Understanding of health and safety responsibilities, including lone working
  • Experience of building effective relationships with internal and external partners

Our client is keen to hire for this amazing opportunity in early September. Applicants will ideally be on a notice (maximum 2 weeks from early September 2023), as well as willing to work from our client's East London head office 2/3 days a week.
