The Role

The ideal candidate must possess a solid background in accounts payable, with the willingness to learn new aspects of the role. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the role provides exposure to senior leadership and requires good communication skills to address inquiries effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Experience in matching, batching, and coding
  • Diverse experience with various systems
  • Processing a high volume of invoices
  • Resolving queries efficiently
  • Handling BACS payments
  • Working well under pressure while maintaining accuracy
  • Reconciling company credit cards and supplier statements
  • Managing supplier accounts and payments
  • Improving systems and processes as needed
  • Providing support to the team when necessary
