Based just North of Nottingham, commutable from most of the Midland and South YorkshireJob Description
- Oversee all financial operations and direct corporate financial planning and structure
- Coordinate, analyse and report the financial performance to Management and Board of Directors
- Preparation of all financial reporting
- Manage budgeting process
- Oversee the preparation of year-end accounts and liaising with auditors
- Ensure compliance with statutory law and financial regulations
- Develop financial and tax strategies
- Manage company's cash flow and forecasting
The Successful Applicant
A successful Interim Finance Director should have:
- Qualified ACA / ACMA / ACCA finance professional
- Proven experience in a similar role within the industrial/manufacturing industry
- Excellent strategic planning skills and able to interact at all levels
- Strong financial and accounting background, including an understanding of profit and loss, balance sheet and cash flow management and general finance and budgeting
- Ability to understand new issues quickly and make wise decisions
- Ability to inspire confidence and create trust
