Purpose of Role:
To support the company's growth and investment in technologies like Injection Moulding, Extrusion, PU Formulation, and Rotational Moulding, we need a skilled Process Engineer to enhance existing technical procedures and lead in new product and process implementation.

As a member of the Process Engineer Team, you will:

  • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations while suggesting enhancements.
  • Collaborate with the Production Manager to enhance Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) in key processes.
  • Develop systems for assessing and improving current and new products.
  • Drive cycle time reduction systematically.
  • Assist in reducing scrap levels and boosting OEE in coordination with the Production Manager.
  • Provide technical support to production and Operations areas.
  • Participate in new projects and product introductions, including determining machinery requirements.
  • Act as a technical expert for process engineering.
  • Train and develop the Technician Team, ensuring skill gaps are addressed.
  • Uphold a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and 5s practices.
  • Engage in various engineering activities such as DFM's, GA's, and Drawing reviews.
  • Conduct tool trials and Process Capability studies on critical dimensions.
  • Develop robot programs for product handling and removal.

Essential Criteria:
  • Experience in process engineering within extrusion, injection, and rotational moulding.
  • Proven track record in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to present data effectively.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
  • Organized with the ability to work within deadlines and budgets.
  • Detail-oriented while maintaining a strategic view.
