About Us :
Supreme Wheels is a Specialist Alloy Wheel Refurbishment company based in Tongwell, Milton Keynes.

Who are we looking for : We are looking to recruit a Workshop operative (training will be given to the right applicant) for our Night Shift. This role requires a hardworking individual with the ability to support the team in times of heavy volume.

Though recent recruitment has taken place, due to our continuing expansion and workload, further staff are required.

Job Role / Responsibilities:

The main purpose of this role will be to use our range of specialist tyre fitting equipment to fit and strip tyres and wash wheels removed from our water based chemical tanks.


Location :
You will be predominately required to work from our Workshops in Tongwell, Milton Keynes.

Salary:
Competitive


Plus night allowance of £20 per night worked, (potential to earn £4,160 p.a.) also payable when on authorised annual leave.


Hours :
Monday to Thursday 6pm to 6am (44 hours per week)

Key tasks and duties may include:

  • Using specialised equipment within the wheel refurbishment process.
  • Tyre Fitting/Wheel Exchange.
  • Loading/Unloading Chemical Tanks.
  • Washing down Alloys which have been Chemically Stripped.
  • Keying up alloys and deweight and devalving alloys.
  • Ensuring all health & safety procedures are followed.
  • Ensure workshop is kept clean and tidy at all times
  • Any other reasonable management request.


You will be required to adhere to the company's health and safety policy and procedures and contribute to good housekeeping.


Essential Requirements:

  • Possess a full UK clean driving licence.
  • Able to lift heavy items (up to 25kg) for a sustained period within a workshop environment
  • Numeric
  • Able to follow instructions accurately
  • Attention to detail.
  • The ability to use your own initiative but also know when matters need to be referred to a supervisor.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to communicate clearly and concisely.
  • Basic spoken and written English.
  • Reliable and punctual
