Head of Complex Care in Community - Nurse / HCPC Qualified

Company Overview

Join our team as we grow and provide nurse and therapy led Complex Care and Mental Health Care at home. We focus on Mental Health, Complex Care, and Learning Disability in the community. We are currently seeking a Head of Complex Care (Clinical) to play a vital role in our senior leadership team.

As the Head of Complex Care, you will collaborate closely with the Group Managing Director, Head of People, and Head of Operations. Your responsibilities will include providing clinical and operational oversight for our Community Team Leaders, Nurses, and other members of the MDT. Ensuring compliance with all policies and regulations is key, along with building positive relationships with Local Commissioners and NHS Trusts to enhance the quality of care for our clients.

We are looking for a candidate with significant experience in overseeing Complex Care caseloads within a community setting. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, setting high standards for teamwork and decision-making. A strategic mindset and the ability to lead a growing project are essential.

Location

This role is primarily remote with occasional travel within the region. The ability to lead a team effectively while working from home is crucial.

Requirements

  • NMC (RGN / RCN / RNLD qualified) or HCPC (OT) registered
  • Experience in Complex Care at Home / Community / Continuing Care Services
  • Thorough knowledge of Care Quality Commission standards and Governance
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Passion for promoting independence in individuals with complex mental health conditions
  • Hands-on approach and willingness to be actively involved in the field
  • Clean DBS record

Interview Process

The interview process consists of two stages: an initial MS Teams interview with the Head of Operations, followed by a formal interview (via Teams) including a 15-minute presentation with the Managing Director.

Salary and Benefits

This position offers a salary of £60,000 per annum, based on experience. Additional benefits include 25 days of annual leave and 8 Bank Holidays.
