Job Description

You will be a key senior member of the EMEA Franchise team responsible for delivering tailored Franchise Plans that will drive the EMEA Brand Development business, primarily across consumer products, along with Games and Digital, Live entertainment, ensuring aligned strategies with the TV and Theatrical teams.
You will be reporting in to the Vice President, Franchise EMEA, working in tandem on key strategic projects across all franchises i.e. Universal and Illumination, focusing on Jurassic World and Minions, and DreamWorks titles, Trolls, Dragons, Gabby's Dollhouse and Spirit.

You will also be an important regional brand lead working between the Global Franchise teams located in Los Angeles and local Marketing teams across Europe (Germany, Italy, Spain, France, UK, Benelux, etc.), advocating for regional needs, and adapting global franchise marketing strategies for European territory activation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Liaise with Global Franchise and Marketing counterparts for input into seasonal early planning lifecycles. Provide input into the Franchise Planning Process ensuring integration of EMEA needs
  • Develop tools for local teams to activate and support 365 day business across the core properties
  • Ideate and Develop compelling Franchise campaigns with focused activation plans, sharing to in-region and global stakeholders
  • Attend top-tier retail and licensee meetings (i.e. master toy partners and key Food, Beauty and Care partners) in region, as requested to support with story beats and sensitive materials.
  • Reviews and ensures brand integrity of all licensee marketing and loyalty program submissions in region (TV and other high-profile submissions to be vetted with global marketing team)
  • In conjunction with G6 (UK, France, GSA, Italy, Iberia & Benelux) and affiliate markets, tailor EMEA specific Franchise Plans to become locally relevant
  • Support input to and analysis of key Franchise research projects, including brand health insights, content performance ratings and performance updates & analysis for TV & Theatrical
  • Support Theatrical / TV brand marketing on core projects
  • Partner with regional social and digital teams for strategic planning, localisation and campaign solutions, identifying tactics that drive innovation in marketing excellence
  • Assisting with the alignment of franchise plans across NBCU business divisions and local markets to maximise brand opportunities - meeting the regional business' objectives
  • Identify asset needs and develop/maintain brand guidelines
  • Brand guardian for NBCU IP's, contributing to the EMEA Franchise vision and best practice processes
  • Appropriately communicate the most relevant and up to date Franchise information, in a timely manner
  • Be integral team member of regional brainstorm sessions and project taskforces
  • Manage strategy and activation of influencer and paid social marketing campaigns, directing multiple agencies and aligning with regional teams across Europe to elevate content during key retail and CP moments relevant to franchise
