Owen Payne are recruiting for Tube Laser Operator to join a fantastic manufacturing company within the
Willenhall area.

This is a PERMANENT night position._

Requirements:

  • Must have previous laser machine operating experience.
  • Good communication skills
  • FLT CB Licence would be an essential

Duties:

  • Operate overhead gantry cranes via radio remote/pendant control to load material for Laser.
  • Process lengths of steel precisely using the Laser, as per instructions.
  • Store processed material safely in designated areas, to ensure product is accessible in line with company working practices.
  • Drive mobile plant such as forklift trucks, sidetracker, etc. and roadbased vehicles for loading and transportation purposes, as required.


 Goods Inwards
  • Unload material and prepare warehouse for future loads.
  • Complete daily preshift check sheets.
  • Report any Laser/plant defects promptly and accurately to the Tube Laser Supervisor.
  • Undertake stock checks as required.
  • Maintain a
    consistent approach by carrying out regular housekeeping of your designated working area throughout each shift.

Working hours:

  • Sunday
  • Thursday 10pm 6am.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
£16.00-£17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
