We are looking to recruit a full-time experienced **Laser Operator** to join our talented team in Wolverhampton.

As a Laser Operator, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of laser cutting machine. This role will also include other elements of Pre-fab responsibilities.

Leadership experience is advantageous and the desire to evolve in this area.

**Responsibilities**:

- Operating lasers to a high level of safety and productivity
- Providing continuous improvement, meeting customer requirements
- Ensuring the laser is running to its optimum at all times
- Keeping the production area clean and safe at all times
- Working to production schedules
- Following internal paperwork procedures
- Carrying out quality inspection of all work

The role will involve all elements of our pre-fab area, including events of material handling

**Essential Experience**:

- Be conversant with Engineering Drawings
- Flat bed laser experience
- Press brake experience
- Experience with Amada preferable
- Ability to set and operate CNC Laser Machine
- Counterbalance FLT Licence
- Confident with computers in order to nest files for cutting
- Experience with reading engineering drawings
- Leadership experience preferred
