£25 per hour (assignment rate)

Duties of the Occupational Therapist:

  • To be responsible for the occupational therapy assessment, treatment and evaluation of outcome for patients referred to the service;
  • To be responsible for organising and prioritising own and others workload in the day to day allocation of work
  • To work as an autonomous practitioner without direct supervision
  • To comply with Trust and service policies and guidelines

Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:

  • Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy
  • Recent experience working as an Occupational Therapist
  • Recent NHS experience
  • Registered with the HCPC
  • Car driver with access to vehicle to undertake home visits
months post registration experience as an OT

  • NHS OT experience
  • Experience of using systmOne or equivalent
