Principle / Associate ESG Advisory Consultant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing ESG strategies for businesses, development activities, and real estate portfolios
  • Supporting clients on implementation of ESG strategies across their operations
  • Supporting and developing sustainability services, including corporate ESG strategies, bespoke sustainable development and asset management frameworks, carbon footprinting and Science Based Targets, netzero carbon corporate roadmaps, and climate change risk assessments
  • Working with a wide range of clients across a range of built environment sectors, including investors, developers, landlords, and designers
  • Assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy over time as we support the development of your professional skills, including professional chartership

Key Skills:

  • Educated to Masters level in Engineering or the Built Environment
  • Demonstrable knowledge and experience of building physics, particularly in relation to heat transfer, energy, thermal comfort and natural ventilation
  • Working knowledge of climatebased daylighting analysis, operational energy calculation using TM54, sustainability rating tools such as BREEAM and life cycle carbon costing
  • Knowledge and experience of relevant ESG frameworks, including UN SDGs, UN PRI, Greenhouse Gas Protocol, Science-Based Targets, TCFD, CDP, GRESB
  • Understanding of Parametric Modelling Techniques (Grasshopper or Dynamo), or at least one modern programming language (e.g. Python, C#, VB)
  • Organised and methodical in your approach to managing your tasks and priorities
  • Excellent communication skills, both in writing and verbally, with internal and external stakeholders
  • Collaborative in nature, able to empathise with clients' needs and utilise excellent communication skills
  • Positive, cando attitude, using your initiative to overcome challenges
  • Passionate about sustainable design
