Adele Carr are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a friendly finance team in Liverpool on a part-time basis. This is a 6-month assignment which will focus on Purchase Ledger function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchase Ledger Management: Accurately process invoices, manage payments, and ensure all transactions are recorded promptly.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Regularly reconcile bank statements to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Cash Posting: Efficiently handle cash posting duties, ensuring all financial data is up-to-date.
  • Invoice Processing: Receive, review, and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness.
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes.
  • Code and input invoices into the accounting system.
  • Payment Management: Schedule and prepare payments to suppliers via various methods (e.g., BACS, cheque).
  • Ensure timely payment of invoices to maintain good supplier relationships.
  • Reconciliation: Perform regular reconciliation of supplier statements to ensure all transactions are accounted for.
  • Reconcile bank statements with the company's financial records to maintain accuracy.

About you:

  • Previous experience in Purchase Ledger/Accounts Payable.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to work in fast paced environment.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
