Location: Pembroke Dock

The exclusive distributor of Hyundai Power Products for the UK and Ireland and JCB Power Equipment worldwide, Genpower is on a mission to become the number one supplier of high quality power equipment. From their various UK facilities, Genpower distributes through online channels such as Amazon, Ebay and ManoMano to name a few

Since their humble beginnings in 2006, Genpower have over 120 employees and over 350 current product lines. Working in 5 locations across the UK, will be Genpowers biggest year with a target to exceed £50m turnover by 2024

Role:

  • Obtain a thorough knowledge of Genpower, their services and the markets they operate within, in order to have valuable conversations with clients
  • Build a pipeline of sales opportunities for the company, through generating new business via the phone, email and social media
  • Act as the first point of contact for new business prospects and determine the next steps for each individual prospect moving forward
  • Attain and demonstrate a high level of product and system knowledge in order to respond to technical sales enquiries
  • Support senior sales team members on outbound strategies and lead generating efforts
  • Schedule qualified calls and meetings with prospects, introducing these new leads to the senior sales team
  • Anticipate new business by keeping on top of industry trends and conducting market research to identify new opportunities
  • Manage and maintain the company CRM system, ensuring all sales related activity is input accurately and efficiently

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level
  • Ideally, you'll have a proven track record with some B2B sales experience
  • Comfortable working in a target-driven environment
  • Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills – you must really enjoy engaging with others on a regular basis
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and excellent organisational skills
  • Self-motivated, with a strong desire to succeed
  • Team player, with the ability to work autonomously
