The European Tour group is one of the world's pre-eminent golf organisations. We are responsible for running the world-famous DP World Tour, Legends Tour, Challenge Tour and G4D Tour (golf for the disabled). We also organise, alongside the PGA of America, golf's greatest team contest - the Ryder Cup.

About the role

We are looking for a Content Insight Executive to join our Content team to run the day-to-day of various data and insights sources to deliver key reports to support our commercial and broadcast programmes, as well as to inform data-driven decision-making for the Tour's award-winning content/broadcast business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing and managing the day-to-day Media Valuation supplier relationship, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Supporting the broadcast team with broadcaster proposals, distribution reporting and ROI reporting on broadcast sponsorship and event assets.
  • Providing support to ensure a data and insight-led approach to decision-making across the Tour's Content function. See examples:
  • Day-to-day management of data and insights sources.
  • Working with external clients to deliver distribution and viewership updates across linear, digital and social platforms.
  • Delivery of other data and insights reporting, and responsibility to work with our award-winning Content team to continually review editorial and content commercial strategy across platforms including Facebook, YouTube, X (formerly Twitter), website and app.
  • Providing analytical support for new cross-departmental projects/ initiatives, including with Commercial Partnerships, Marketing, Ticketing and Retail & Licensing.
  • Mandate to continue to seek efficiency in processes and to ensure outputs best serve evolving needs of the business.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Strong MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Research skills and understanding of basic statistical methods
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Be comfortable working in a small team and rolling up their sleeves.
  • Be flexible, adaptable, and prepared to step outside of core responsibilities if required.
  • Have good interpersonal skills and be able to communicate at all levels.
  • Be committed and hardworking with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Display professionalism, empathy, and integrity.
  • An interest in sport is a bonus but is not a pre-requisite.
