As an apprentice you'll be receiving practical and professional training right from the start.

Working alongside experienced colleagues who will supervise your development and a dedicated mentor providing support and guidance throughout your training.

At Southampton City Council we are committed to paying Foundation Living Wage as a minimum and we believe apprentices should also be paid fairly.

Your salary as an apprentice will be £23,151 annually and may increase in line with any national rise in Foundation Living Wage.


About the role:


We are looking for a confident and conscientious individual to undertake the role of Apprentice within Housing Management and have 3 full time posts available.


You will:

  • Work within the Housing Services Team and gain an overall knowledge of the Housing Profession.
  • Have experience of frontline housing work and delivering an efficient and effective service to customers, including tenants and leaseholders.
  • Gain experience and knowledge across a variety of housing teams including Housing Management, Tenancy Fraud, Leasehold Services, Supported Housing, Allocations and Homelessness.
You will be working towards the Level 3 Housing and Property Management apprenticeship with Kingdom Academy.

The duration of this apprenticeship is 18 months with 3 months for the End Point Assessment.
