Danny's Event Catering is recruiting Catering Assistants to work as part of our team on our client's site, Knockhill Racing Circuit.


As well as Knockhill Racing Circuit, we have an impressive portfolio, operating at some of the country's largest venues such as Knockhill Racing Circuit, Kilmarnock Football Club, Hampden Park, Hamilton Racecourse, Musselburgh Racecourse & Perth Racecourse.

Each of our venues provide opportunities to be part of some huge events.

This role will consist of midweek & weekend working on a 120 hours pre month contract.

This role will be dynamic, with an expectation of flexibility on a regular basis.

Your duties will include:

  • Assisting with food preparation and presentation.
  • Ensuring food safety standards are followed at all times.
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests, ensuring their needs are met.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of all areas.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to ensure smooth operations during service.
  • Assist with any other tasks or duties as assigned by the Catering Manager.
We expect our Catering Assistants to possess a variety of skills, including but not limited to.

  • Strong hospitality skills with a focus on providing exceptional guest services.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices.
  • Basic culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.
  • Bartending experience is a plus.
  • Previous experience in catering or restaurant industry is essential.
  • Ability to work well in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
