Job Title: Hospitality Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hospitality Coordinator to join our team at Fife Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the effective running and safe operations within schools and council buildings within Fife.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the management of catering and cleaning services to ensure a high-quality and cost-effective service is provided to clients and customers.
  • Undertake induction training for new staff and identify the development needs of employees to assist with their training.
  • Assist in personnel matters, including disciplinary and grievance procedures at the appropriate level.
  • Ensure compliance with food service regulations and address any non-compliance issues.
Requirements:
  • Significant post-qualification experience at supervisory level.
  • Experience in both catering and cleaning, with a food production qualification.
  • Experience in staff management, with budgetary awareness, numeracy, and literacy skills.
  • Ability to travel at short notice to other Fife Council establishments.
  • Current, valid driving license.
