Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom Cambridge Enterprise Full time

West Cambridge | From £29,605 | Hybrid working fixed-term until 2027

Do you thrive in a fast-paced international environment, supporting high-level collaborations that shape the future of research commercialisation? If so, this role is your chance to orchestrate groundbreaking initiatives at the heart of a prestigious academic network.

Why TenU and Cambridge Enterprise?
We are TenU, a group of innovation offices from ten of the world's leading research universities. We exist to connect these universities to help share ideas on how to make research more impactful. We write papers, host events, and have a remote future leaders' programme. TenU is hosted by Cambridge Enterprise.

Cambridge Enterprise is at the heart of Europe's most successful research and technology cluster and we're on a mission to bring innovation to life, making a difference to society, the UK economy, and the University of Cambridge.

We connect the innovative minds of the University's academics with the funding, start-up expertise and commercial relationships they need to help their ideas thrive.

Our success stories include an electric vehicle charging technology that's as convenient as filling up with petrol, a programme to prevent ideological extremism, and the world's first treatment for a rare cause of blindness.

Now, we need a Personal Assistant to join the team at our vibrant West Cambridge site.

Why You'll Love This Role:

  • Be the first point of contact for senior leaders at prestigious institutions like MIT, Stanford, and Imperial College London.

  • Be the goto person for the Head of TenU, anticipating needs and exceeding expectations; leverage your organisational skills to optimise the Head of TenU's schedule and resources.
  • Work collaboratively with a passionate team, fostering innovation and achieving impactful results.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for diplomacy and tact.
  • You possess exceptional organisational skills and the ability to prioritise like a pro.
