An opportunity to work within a care home group currently rated as outstanding by CQC. We are looking to employ a laundry assistant to join our existing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Sort, wash, dry, iron and fold linen and laundry according to established procedures
  • Operate commercial laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines
  • Inspect linens for stains, tears, or damage and report any issues to the housekeeper
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and organization of the laundry area
  • Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines

Experience:

  • Experience in a similar setting is not necessary but would be beneficial
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain highquality standards
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks
