Laundry Assistant

Axminster, United Kingdom Cannon Care Homes Full time

An opportunity to work within a care home group currently rated as outstanding by CQC. We are looking to employ a laundry assistant to join our existing team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Sort, wash, dry, iron and fold linen and laundry according to established procedures
- Operate commercial laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines
- Inspect linens for stains, tears, or damage and report any issues to the housekeeper
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and organization of the laundry area
- Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines

**Experience**:

- Experience in a similar setting is not necessary but would be beneficial
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From £11.44 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
