Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Inside Account Manager to join our Sales team in Southampton.

This role focuses on managing the sales activities of aerospace accounts by developing and maintaining professional relationships, ensuring timely responses to quotations, order entries, and complaint handling, as well as scheduling warehouse shipments efficiently.


Key Responsibilities:


Develop and maintain lists of prospects and potential new accounts with the Outside Account Manager (OAM) to grow net business and achieve budget targets.

Provide customer service and inventory data to management to maximize productivity by planning, organizing, and managing workload effectively.

Utilize telemarketing programs to develop and maintain business relationships.

Review market analyses to determine customer needs, volume potential, price schedules, and discount rates.

Prepare reports on business contacts, transactions, and expenses.

Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years sales experience, preferably in a commercial environment or metals industry.

Highly motivated and able to work effectively in a team.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Proficiency in common PC programs such as Excel and Word, with the ability to learn the mainframe program Metalware.

Strong numerical skills.
