Job description:

Project 1

Undertake a review and develop the company induction process utilising digitalised processes.

  • Undertake external benchmarking on best practice
  • Recommend and implement approved changes to on boarding and induction processes utilising digital tools with the aim of improving process efficiencies and new starter experience.
  • Work with departmental stakeholders to develop a tool kit for departmental inductions covering all key knowledge and skills requirements for that department (includes HSE.)
Project 2


Develop a template for a skills/competency framework that will identify the knowledge skills and attributes required for roles in the business and identify how any skills gaps will be filled with relevant training.


  • Undertake external benchmarking on best practice
  • Focus on key identified roles and complete frameworks for these areas.
  • Ensure the framework produced can be rolled out to other roles in the organisation at a later date by departmental managers.
To support the HR department in delivering departmental objectives, including:

  • Process improvement activity for HR services
  • Improvement projects such as 5S activity, idea generation and carbon reduction
  • Support with any additional ad hoc projects as may be required by the HR department
  • Daytoday operational HR activities

Job requirements:

  • Human Resources related Degree / HND, or equivalent experience
  • Strong project management and process improvement skills, and an innovative mindset.
  • Excellent computer skills, with experience in Microsoft Office packages. Able to manipulate data in Excel to produce KPIs and graphs
  • Experience of complex problem solving and the delivery of improvement projects
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
