We are working alongside one of the most forward-thinking research companies in the United Kingdom who are looking to secure a Transport Economist to aid their growing and diverse business to meet their strategic objectives.
Typically, your day as Transport Economist would involve:
- Conceptualising new approaches and metrics to impact assessment across a wide range of project types.
- Undertaking data analysis, horizon scanning, roadmap development and research as required to meet project needs.
- Producing high quality reports, analysis, blog posts and case studies to enable the findings of your analysis to be disseminated (either within the project team or more widely).
- Providing content support to various projects, while supporting the activities of other colleagues.
- A degree in Economics or a related discipline.
- A strong understanding of transport economics (including DfT's TAG and Green Book methodologies).
- Practical experience of producing case studies for transport investment.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
