Job Overview:


Chester Aid to the Homeless is looking to recruit a reliable and energetic Homelessness Support Worker to join our team.

We manage a day centre which provides support via 'walk in', training and one-to-one sessions. We also manage 8 properties which we visit to provide focused residential support and activities.

We are looking for someone who has a can-do attitude and wants to make a real difference.

Whilst previous experience is not necessary you will need GCSE Maths & English grades 4-9 (A-C) and good communication and IT skills to keep client notes and advocate on their behalf.

All relevant training will be provided.


You will be working as part of a team that includes volunteers and service-partners to deliver change in peoples' lives.

Driving licence is essential and experience of driving a van is desirable.
