We are recruiting for Support Workers offering full time, permanent contracts

  • 37 hours per week based in Thanet CT9. Paying £11.15 p/h

Working on a rota basis including days, nights, sleep ins waking nights, weekdays and weekends. Must be able to work all shifts.
You'll be working in one of our Supported Living facilites in Thanet. Adults with Learning Disabilities and Challenging Behaviour.

Person Specification of a Support Worker Thanet:

  • 6 months experience is
    Essential:
  • Flexibility is
    Essential Must be fully flexible to work
    ALL shifts including days, nights, sleep ins, waking nights and weekends
  • Be mature minded and be able to forward plan
  • Able to demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills
  • Be patient and understanding
  • Be able to work strategically

Responsibilities of a Support Worker Thanet include:

  • Assisting with all aspects of personal care including bathing, showering and incontinence care
  • Assisting with moving and handling using the aid of hoists, wheelchairs and slide sheets
  • Supporting service users to maintain an active activities schedule including accessing the community and home based
  • Food preparation
  • Domestic duties
  • Administering medication
  • Completing literate and comprehensive daily notes
