About Our Client:

Page Personnel is representing a Non for Profit business, who offer fully remote working.

Key responsibilities of the Payroll Administrator are to;

  • Assist in processing the monthly and weekly payrolls for approximately 450 members of staff and approx 250 pensioners throughout the UK.
  • Liaising with all levels of employees.
  • Dealing with payroll queries from employees.
  • Comply with payroll timetable and policies.
  • Assist team in data manipulation and data upload of payroll input data received from various areas of the business.
  • Delivery of all payroll activities as assigned to time and quality ensuring a high level of accuracy at all times.
  • Provide support to the monthly processing of our two payrolls by managing the flow of information for all payroll related actions (including sickness absence, extra duty payments, etc) and checking all payroll input for accuracy.

The Successful Applicant:

The successful Payroll Administrator will have;

  • Ability to work on a large volume, busy payroll. Be processorientated, service driven, and enjoy being part of a team.
  • Payroll experience in UK monthly and weekly payrolls.
  • Numerical competency in data entry.
  • Confident in manual processing of payroll from start to finish.
  • Payroll knowledge on current payroll legislation, i.e. SSP, SMP, SPP, NIC and Attachment of Earnings Order.
  • Proven track record of delivering payroll and continually improving payroll processes.
  • Clear and logical thinking and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team and deliver strong results.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with colleagues of all levels.
  • Strong numerical competency with ability to do manual calculations independently.
