  • Drive mobile plant to manage waste reception areas and load vehicles for waste transport
  • Load waste material onto bulk haulage vehicles
  • Utilize forklift to empty metal skips and unload vehicle deliveries of consumables
  • Perform routine maintenance of mobile plant, such as oil and water checks, and report any defects
  • Assist with on-site traffic management and site maintenance
  • Operate overhead refuse cranes
  • Operate weighbridge and plant maintenance computer systems
  • Support operations and maintenance colleagues with routine tasks on day shift

Intermediate computer proficiency

Effective oral and written communication skills

Willingness to work overtime when necessary

Possession of current mobile plant and forklift driving certifications
