Our client, one of Kent's leading law firms, are seeking an
experienced Legal Cashier to join their cashiering team.


The position ensures that financial compliance is met to a suitable standard in line with SRA accounts rules, liaising with fee earners, secretaries, and senior cashiers to maximise cooperation and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities

  • To assist in the identification of residual balances and returning them to the correct party
  • Ensuring that funds being paid to charity are in line with the SRA Accounts Rules and internal policies are being met
  • To work with the Head Cashier in identifying potential client to office transfers, and maintain the Central Register for client funds
  • Maintain the data integrity in the practice management system by assisting the Finance Operations Manager with various tasks
  • Experience working as a Legal Cashier
  • Selfmotivated, able to manage your own caseload and work independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
