We're looking for leaders at Denny's. This is not your usual Restaurant General Manager role We have a unique opportunity for someone ready to take the next step, to get involved in every aspect of the business. Not just the smooth running of the restaurant, also new product development, supplier management, technology updates, marketing and more. You'll be working alongside our experienced leadership team, and our friends in the US.

To be successful in the role, you'll have previous experience in leading a team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. You'll champion our values to create The Denny's Way for our guests and team. You'll understand your market, getting to know the competition and identifying opportunities to drive guest satisfaction and restaurant profitability forward.

The best part about this role is that no two days are ever the same As a Restaurant General Manager, you'll be setting the example and leading from the front on shift. A typical day could include:

· Supporting the growth of your team - coaching, developing and building positive relationships to understand individual's challenges, needs and aspirations

· Executing restaurant operations through your team, making sure all of your team are delivering the Denny's experience consistently from open to close

· Analysing data and observations to inform decision making that improves both the guest experience and overall restaurant performance

· Working with the leadership team to create and plan new promotions and menu launches

· Using forecasting and scheduling tools to manage labour within the required budgets as well as recruitment and training of world class and diverse talent that meets Denny's needs

· Overseeing stock ordering, ensuring sufficient inventory is available to meet guest demands and conducting accurate stock counts

· Cascading and rolling out of new initiatives to enable operational excellence and drive business results

· Setting challenging yet realistic goals to drive engagement and improve team performance

· Leading great shifts, providing quality food and beverages consistently for all guests in line with our recipe and presentation standards

· Role-modelling legendary service with a guest comes first attitude and creating genuine connections

· Ensuring all the team follow Denny's operational policies and procedures, especially food safety and health & safety standards at all times
