Typical Day
A typical day could look like this,

0830 - leave your home and travel to your first job

attend first job - support person to clean their home and take medication

have lunch

1230 - travel to second job

attend second job - take person shopping

1400 - travel to third job

attend third job - support someone to attend their social club

1630 - drive home.

Full Time Day shifts only (You will need a car that you are able to use for work purposes) immediate start available.
40 hours per week, hours between (8am - 6pm) 8 hour shifts, 5 days worked out of 7.

Various locations across Bristol, mileage paid at 45p per mile. 3 or 4 visits per day, shortest visit is 2 hours. Gaps between services paid.

Hourly rate - £11.44 weekdays

£12.00 weekends (not essential with this position but available if interested)

You don't need to have previous experience or qualifications as we will happily support you along the way and provide any training you require.

Job Role:

The role is varied and you will be required to do many different things. You will be working on your own with the people we support (following a shadowing period whilst you get to know the people you will be supporting)

Duties may include:

  • Support with shopping, meal planning and preparation
  • Light domestic tasks and general household duties
  • Assisting with prescribed medication
  • Supporting service users to be independent and provide companionship
  • Support with physical support needs
  • Support with mental health support needs
  • Support to access leisure activities, education and or employment

Skills/Experience:

  • Driving license and own vehicle essential
  • Experience in supporting people preferable, however full training provided.
  • Kind, Caring and compassionate nature
  • Patient and empathetic
  • Strong communication skills
  • Reliable, committed and trustworthy

BENEFITS INCLUDE:

Guaranteed contracted hours and monthly salary, all gaps between services paid. Paid mileage at 45p per mile

5.6 weeks annual leave rising to 6 weeks depending on length of service.

Private health care cover and dental care via general and medical for all employees.

Full, on-going support from the directors
