Deli 24 Ltd is seeking a
Technical Supervisor who has the experience and drive to meet the following attributes:
Supporting the Technical Manager, you will assist with the delivery of the Company's Quality Management System.

This will be achieved by monitoring and maintaining the company and the customers quality assurance systems, food safety plan and HACCP.


The main duties of the role:

Your role As Technical Supervisor will be to lead and motivate the QA team in monitoring and evaluating product and processing systems and factory practices.


Ability to supervise and manage the training team linking training requirements to operational needs, keep up to date with training processes, procedures and maintaining.

A close relationship with the Operations Team to ensure Training needs for the business are met on time

In this busy and exciting role, you will ensure agreed standards of quality are achieved and improved upon, whilst taking a lead in generating and building a quality culture.


You will understand, implement, and review quality systems associated with the production of food to the agreed safety and quality standards.

Ensure KPI's are monitored and presented to allow identification of improvement plans.

You will be involved in the evaluation of risks prior to the introduction of and establishment of controls of a new process, product, or raw material, whilst providing the practical support and drive to promote a Quality Assurance & Food Safety culture.

It is essential that you have HACCP experience, Food science qualification or equivalent and experience in the manufacturing industry. You will have experience of working within a Food / chilled environment. Ideally you will have a good practical working knowledge of food safety legislation and quality requirements.

  • Ensure compliance to customers policies and standards and the BRC Global Standard for food safety.
  • Support the Technical Manager with customer/third party audits. Ensure all documentation is available. Implement agreed corrective actions.
  • Complete internal audits to the agreed schedule.
  • Ensure that the training matrix is completed and up to date.
  • Liaise and cooperate with the production and commercial teams to ensure that customers are supplied with food products which are safe to eat, and that the quality of products complies with the customer specifications.
  • Ability to communicate with our current customer base.
  • Implement traceability testing and monitoring to the agreed schedule.
  • Help drive a continuous improvement and food safety culture across the site.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
To be considered for the role of
Technical Supervisor, you must have:

  • 2+ years' experience in food industry production/QA/technical role
  • Food industry high care experience
  • Fluency in English
  • Food Safety qualification (at Level 3 or higher)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications / computer literate
  • Internal auditor experience/training
It is essential that you have HACCP experience, Food science qualification or equivalent and experience in the manufacturing industry. You will have experience of working within a Food / chilled environment. Ideally you will have a good practical working knowledge of food safety legislation and quality requirements.

Job Role:

Technical Supervisor (Permanent Full Time)

Hours:
Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm (no weekend or Bank holiday working)

Rate of Pay:
£34,000.00 per annum plus overtime at 1.5 times your rate of pay.
