About the Role


Collaborating with other team members to continue delivering our high level of service is also essential, as well as identifying and implementing improvements where appropriate.


Responsibilities also include:

  • Database management, including systems maintenance and deploying upgrade and security patches.
  • Responding to service requests as the expert troubleshooter, resolving complex database issues in a Unix environment
  • Identifying business and user requirements, including opportunities for new or enhanced services, and then contributing to their design and development.
  • Communicate and engage with suppliers, project, and service teams ensuring that solutions are delivered within budget and to agreed service levels.
  • Mentoring our less experienced members of the team is also strongly encouraged

About You

  • Proven experience of installation, administration and maintenance of modern Oracle Databases, along with experience of Oracle EBS R12.2 and current experience of Linux
  • Your ability to work proactively and constructively in resolving issues and taking ownership of problems is equally important.
  • Whilst the job description provides further detail about the role, we would be interested in hearing from applicants who perhaps do not have all the required technical skills, but can demonstrate the aptitude develop them with the support of the team.
