Job Description

A London based wearable device company have a majority remote working OUTSIDE IR35 contract position involving contributing enhancements and features to the backend, written in Golang (Golang is preferred but the client can also consider you if you wanting to learn Golang but are currently proficient in Java/C++) running on cloud side and pitch servers. The position involves working on APIs, databases and asynchronous messaging. This includes exposure to machine learning algorithms for detection and classification of complex sporting events in real-time, streaming data, networking and CI/CD.

  • Knowledge of databases (ideally SQL)
  • Linux (cloud and local)
  • Cloud based technologies (ideally AWS but others considered)
  • Networking protocols (beneficial)

The client are willing to accommodate majority home working with one onsite visit per week to the north London innovation center.
