The Isle of Wight Orthoptic department is looking for an exceptional and experienced Specialist Orthoptist to join our growing team as we continue to develop into a variety of extended roles.

This new position has been created to support the expanding orthoptic and glaucoma services.

Although the role will be focused on glaucoma, the individual will have the freedom and autonomy to tailor the role to suit their own professional interests.

Our department is working to become an accredited orthoptic placement site this year and we are looking applicants who are enthusiastic about education to become part of the clinical tutor team.

As a small team, we fully support individual development plans and provide the protected time and finances to grow and advance.
