In this role, you will collaborate closely with the management team to drive strategic initiatives at the intersection of science and business. Your responsibilities will vary, adapting to the evolving needs of the business, but will include:
- Commercial Strategy Definition: Developing processes to support business development teams for sustainable growth
- Competitive Landscape & Market Insights: Researching key competitors in the AAV market to facilitate strategic workshops
- Supporting Board, Investor & Fundraise Materials: Creating relevant materials for strategic discussions
- Due Diligence & M&A Activities: Assisting with commercial due diligence and acquisitions
To excel in this role, you will need to apply both your scientific and business acumen to grasp the nuances of the AAV gene therapy market. Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field, with advanced degrees and business qualifications as a bonus
- Familiarity with gene therapy landscape and AAV manufacturing preferred
- Experience in CDMO or similar roles within biotechnology
- Strong communication and presentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences
