The Bid Manager will be responsible for developing and managing competitive bids, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and meet the client's requirements.
nPosition Responsibilities:
nLead the end-to-end bid process, from initial inquiry to submission.nCoordinate and manage bid teams, ensuring all members are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.nDevelop and maintain a bid library of standard responses and templates.nAnalyze client requirements and develop tailored solutions that meet their needs.nWrite and edit bid documents, ensuring they are clear, concise, and compelling.nWork closely with sales, finance, operations, and other departments to gather necessary information for bids.nEnsure all bids comply with company policies and legal requirements.nManage post-bid activities, including debriefs and contract negotiations.nContinuously improve the bid process, incorporating feedback and lessons learned.nMaintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and market conditions.
nSkills and Experience:
nMinimum 5 years of experience in bid management, preferably within the facilities management or a related industry.nProven track record of managing and winning bids.nExcellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple bids simultaneously.nStrong analytical skills and attention to detail.nExceptional writing and editing skills.nAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.nStrong interpersonal and communication skills.nProficiency in Microsoft Office suite and bid management software.nBachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
