Role:

We are now looking for a Specialist Account Manager to join our Endsleigh Not-for-Profit team. The role will report directly to the Senior Sales Account Manager.

The main objectives of the role are to meet and exceed income targets from new clients in theNot-for-profit market through your performance.


The main focus of the role is to grow market share in the Not-for-profit market through advised selling of commercial lines products to Charities, Not-for-Profits and Social Enterprises.


key accountabilities will include:

  • Responsible for prospecting and securing new NFP clients and ensuring the successful onboarding of new clients
  • Making presentations to outside commercial organisations and attending new business and renewal meetings with clients
  • Attending relevant key conferences to generate new opportunities.
  • Working with marketing to develop and execute plans to support the delivery of income targets.
  • Providing accurate sales forecasts to Specialist Insurance Leader using pipeline reporting.
  • Relationship Management of high value and/ or strategic existing clients, collaborating with Service and Renewals to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
  • Building and maintaining durable relationships with key industry contacts.
  • To provide insurance advice to clients and model effective protection through the provision of appropriate insurance products.
  • To treat customers fairly at all times in adherence with the FCA TCF principles.
  • Identifying opportunities for leads to other areas of B2B, providing introductions and supporting the crosssell process.

Person
The Specialist Account Manager will have experience working in a broking or insurance environment, specialising in commercial insurance.

The Specialist Account manager will be and have:

  • Significant commercial insurance experience with CII/ACII qualification
  • Strong technical knowledge of insurance gained in a Broker or Insurance company environment.
  • Experience of dealing with third parties with the ability to develop long term relationships.
  • Ability to exceed individual and team targets and deadlines
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both orally and visually and ability to effectively present to all levels within a business, both external and internal
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to understand people and build rapport, adapt styles of communication accordingly.
  • The ability to manage own diary and workload effectively and work to tight deadlines with accuracy of work
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Ability to spot and identify opportunities for crossselling
  • Ability to use a CRM tool (preferably Salesforce) effectively from both an opportunity management and reporting perspective.
