Job Summary:


As a Planning Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning and scheduling activities for major projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

You will lead a team of planners and work closely with project managers, stakeholders, and clients to develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.


Key Responsibilities:

nDevelop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment with project objectives and timelines.nLead a team of planners, providing guidance, support, and mentoring to ensure high performance and professional growth.nCollaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary project information and requirements.nConduct regular schedule reviews and updates, identifying and analyzing any variances from the baseline schedule.nImplement and manage project controls systems to monitor schedule performance, track progress, and forecast project outcomes.nPrepare and present schedule reports, including critical path analysis, schedule risk assessments, and progress updates, to project teams and clients.nIdentify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impacts on project schedules.nEnsure compliance with company standards, policies, and procedures related to planning and scheduling.nFacilitate effective communication and coordination among project team members, stakeholders, and clients.nProvide support for project planning during the bid and proposal stages, including the development of preliminary schedules and resource plans.nStay updated with industry best practices, emerging trends, and technologies in project planning and scheduling.


Qualifications:
nBachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, project management, or a related field.

A master's degree is a plus.nMinimum of 7 years of experience in project planning and scheduling, experience within the Data Centre sector would be advantageous.nProficiency in project scheduling software such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar tools.nStrong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.nStrong leadership and team management abilities.nExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and stakeholders at all levels.nDetail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
