As our new Account Manager on our MAB account, you'll play a pivotal role within the ITG team, responsible for ensuring impeccable client service delivery, operational excellence, innovation, project management, and team support. Partnering with our esteemed hospitality client, you'll lead diverse projects encompassing print production, fulfilment, and delivery, with a primary goal of enhancing our operational efficiency.

Your expertise will be crucial in driving improvements to our working methods, alongside supporting the Account Director in achieving financial targets, maintaining commercial standards, and maximising benefits for our client. With a focus on litho and digital print buying, we rely on your knowledge to serve our client effectively, backed by the support of our Production team based at ITG's headquarters, enabling you to prioritize delivering top-notch customer service.

In addition to client-facing responsibilities, you'll excel in administrative tasks such as invoicing, work-in-progress tracking, briefing, and supplier management. Your ability to seamlessly integrate into the client's marketing team while delivering excellence as an Account Manager is paramount to our success.

Core responsibilities:

Client focus:

  • Building strong relationships and partnerships with our client to understand their business, strategy, and objectives.
  • Owner and guardian of stock management – owning all aspects of stock management, ensuring the client is informed with the right information to make decisions based on data, and ultimately ensuring the estate has everything they need. Can analyse data and recommend accordingly, as well as pro-actively supply context to reasoning for suggestions, with attention to detail and identifying solutions for the client.
  • Delivering best in class client servicing, and continuously driving improvements to the ways we work.
  • Working closely with our supply chain to ensure projects are on time, on-brand and meet the brief.
  • Leading on end-to-end delivery of key projects – leading and driving critical path adherence
  • Providing regular reporting on account and commercial performance

Team ITG:

  • Best in class account services – status reports, critical path, and timelines to set the account up for success.
  • Driving all financial management – accurate and competitive quotes, on time invoicing.
  • Leveraging the ITG network to ensure each brief is considered but also includes recommendations for how to evolve our client offering through innovation or new services.
  • Ensuring all quality-control policies are adhered to through the implementation and continuous monitoring of best practice, while continuously looking to improve ways of working.
  • We need someone who can be a strong support to the Account Director while supporting and being a team player.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Prioritise exceptional customer service, solving issues promptly and ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
  • Autonomous Time Management: Operate independently, managing time efficiently to deliver high-quality work at a fast pace.
  • Print Expertise: Possess extensive knowledge of litho and digital print processes, adept at securing quality deals while maintaining timely delivery.
  • Multitasking Skills: Excel in managing large spreadsheets and handling multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Effective Communication: Maintain open, transparent, and collaborative communication, providing context and solutions to situations.
  • Detail Orientation: Ensure accuracy in delivering briefs and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Proactive Accountability: Drive the account forward, making processes smoother for the client team.
  • Delivery-Focused: Manage projects with clear status updates, actions, next steps, and timelines.
  • Performance and Savings Focus: Meet KPIs, drive cost-saving initiatives, and foster innovation.
  • Positive Mindset: Adapt flexibly to a fast-paced environment, balancing strategic projects and tactical tasks.
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills: Effectively communicate orally and in writing, fostering positive relationships with clients and team members.
  • Client Partnership Development: Foster a strong partnership with the client, prioritising a service-minded approach.
  • Numeracy and Commercial Awareness: Understand the financial aspects of the role, proficient in Excel for stock management.
  • Print and Stock Management Expertise: Utilise your expertise in print and stock management, coupled with a deep understanding of core marketing principles, to challenge briefs effectively.
  • Hospitality POS and Menu Landscape: Possess a strong understanding of hospitality point-of-sale (POS) and menu landscape.
  • Experience in Creative/Artworking/Print Processes: Bring experience in creative, artwork, and print processes to the table.
  • Project Management Mindset: Approach tasks with a project management mindset, equipped with problem-solving skills to tackle challenges effectively.
