Being in charge of leading a team through a significant transformation in the company's history can be quite a task, especially when most team members have been there for the majority of their career.

This role calls for a unique kind of Production Manager - someone who is empathetic, skilled at engaging and onboarding team members, and capable of guiding them towards a new, automated future.

As a Production Shift Manager, this is your chance to guide a talented team through a substantial period of capital investment, preparing the shift for the completion of a major project in the upcoming 12-18 months.

Let me be transparent - it will pose its challenges. This transformation phase entails significant changes, which may lead to occasional chaos in operations.

You will need to maintain a composed and steady demeanor as you establish structure and provide direction to the team, all while supporting the ongoing project and ensuring daily production targets are met.

In this role, you will oversee a team comprising approximately 20-30 production staff, as well as FLT Drivers and Engineers.

Interacting with various team members will reveal that many have grown within the company, including the Operations Manager who initially served as a Production Shift Manager before swiftly progressing in their career.


Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Production Manager / Production Shift Manager in Food Manufacturing, Automotive, or Pharma industries (this is a must)
- Demonstrable track record of driving enhancements using Continuous Improvement (CI) tools
