Role:

  • Reporting to Head of Workplace Experience (WPS) you will be responsible for creating an exceptional workplace experience for both colleagues and visitors. As Senior Product Owner will be responsible for building consensus on the longterm vision and strategy of the MyWorkplace App & Sensor deployment leveraging product insight and having a deep understanding of end user needs and business goals. As Senior Product Owner you will be responsible for translating business, colleague and visitor needs into actionable product backlog items to maximise value for end users globally, as well as managing and prioritising the backlog. You will provide oversight and steer the implementation of the MyWorkplace App adoption and change management strategy. You will be required to collaborate closely with external parties and cross functional teams in an agile, demanding environment, ensuring the product solution and associated processes meets the needs of the end user. You will own and deliver our mobile and sensor deployment standards, approach, and plans across our estate, driving feature inclusion across existing locations. The role will work in partnership with our strategy and planning team to define and implement feature and asset rule sets & core module configuration changes associated with workplace and organisational change across the UK and International estate.
Role & Responsibilities

  • Owns and maintains a cohesive vision and strategy for the product based on competitor insight, performance, and feedback.
  • Translates the product vision into goals and actionable, prioritised deliverables in the M&G product roadmap, and is responsible for its delivery.
  • Ensures the M&G product backlog is clearly defined, creating a set of prioritised epics and features aligned to the product roadmap working in partnership with IT
  • Works in partnership with the thirdparty supplier to understand their product roadmap and implications for M&G product, facilitating decisions on configuration of delivered solutions
  • Shapes new features, translates EU needs into requirements, creates user stories and acceptance criteria. Supports feature elaboration and solution design lifecycle.
  • Ensures feature enhancements requirements are clearly defined & executed
  • Deliver the rollout of the product (APP & Sensors) across our UK & International estate.
  • Run internal stand ups ensuring the App backlog is clearly communicated to the team, ensuring the right things are being worked on at the right time.
  • Own the overall change management strategy and adoption plans to optimise colleague adoption and usage of the MyWorkplace app, ensuring the effectiveness of activities can be baselined and measured.
  • Provides pre & post feature build sign off, ensuring traceability to the user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Responsible for the BAU feature and asset level rule sets for the App
  • Develop plans and drive existing feature inclusion across all live App locations to ensure the product is of optimum value to each use base
  • Work in partnership with WPS teams to define, plan and execute MyWorkplace App updates, rules & configuration associated with workplace and organisational change across the UK and International estate
  • Own the financial management relating to the BAU budget and ongoing cost/benefit of any associated change activity
  • Own and manage the contract and support the supplier relationship management of the product 3rd party supplier, facilitates all governance meetings & contract SLA's & KPI's, action plans to improve and enhance performance
  • Ensures detailed analysis is undertaken to identify optimum rulebased solutions to business needs and problems
  • Responsible for the oversight and maintenance of UK & International App floorplates, Hubs, and POI configuration
  • Owns the design standards for app and sensor deployments, UK & International
  • Monitors the marketplace, understands trends in similar sectors/what is happening in workplace/property environment, knows about innovative technology and FM trends, keeps competitor document up to date, influences supplier/product strategy & feature backlog
