Site Operative
Landmarc Support Services Ltd manage and maintain over 220,000 hectares of land across the United Kingdom on behalf of the Defence Infrastructure Organisation (part of the Ministry of Defence).
This land provides realistic and challenging terrain for military training and comprises some of the most important and remote landscapes in the country.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Training Area Operative at Knook Camp. The Site Operative Cleaner is responsible for looking after the buildings on the camp, you will do regular cleans after the buildings have been used by the Armed Forces and also be responsible for the general maintenance on the camp, this might include or hedge cutting or use of a ride on mower.

Please note this job is a Fixed-Term, Full-Time Role. Contracted for 6 Months, working Monday-Friday 37 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of H&S such as COSHH, manual handling, risk assessments and safe systems of work.
- Experience of carrying out basic maintenance tasks such as painting, joinery and groundwork.
- Experience carrying out cleaning tasks.
- Knowledge of working in a rural environment.
- Experience of communicating with customers.
- Basic laboring, caretaking, cleaning and housekeeping skills.
- Demonstrate proven record of accomplishment of achieving objectives
- Ability to operate rural plant and machinery (holds valid certificate)
- Ability to complete documentation
- Basic IT skills
- General and Grounds maintenance
- Ability to handover and takeback on site accommodation and facilities
- Cleaning duties
- Liaising with stakeholders to ensure effective site delivery e.g. handover/ take back of facilities
