Job Summary:

Oakridge Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Telehandler Operator to join our team. As a Telehandler Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating a 17m JCB to lift, move, and position heavy materials on construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a Telehandler to lift and transport materials as needed on construction sites.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment.
• Collaborate with the construction team to facilitate the movement of materials according to project requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on the Telehandler to ensure its optimal functioning.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials from trucks or other vehicles using the Telehandler.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in operating a Telehandler or similar heavy equipment.
• Strong driving skills with the ability to maneuver the Telehandler in tight spaces.
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues that may arise during operation.
• Familiarity with 17m JCB.
• CPCS or NPORS Telehandler ticket and a full UK driving licence.
