Our client an Insurance Services Company based in Goudhurst are looking to recruit Part Time Bookkeeper to assist them on average 4 hours a week with additional hours at end of year.


The role:

  • All purchase and sales ledger
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Knowledge of payments from GBP/USD and Euros, so conversion is required to GBP
  • VAT return for the Claims company
  • Must have experience of using QuickBooks
  • Assist with FCA returns
  • Producing monthly management accounts for FCA compliance
  • Accruals and prepayments
  • Maintaining work in progress spread sheet for claims company
  • Liaising with auditors and accountant
Proficient at use of excel

  • Need to be able to work independently and be used to working on your own initiative and problem solving
  • Well organised and accurate
  • Hourly wage depending on experience circa £17 to £18 per hour
