We are looking for a

Decorator

to undertake the following duties on a day-to-day basis:

Key responsibilities
Painting and decorating of various size properties, internally & externally.
Hanging and lining of wallpaper and quantifying wallpaper amounts.
Painting walls, doors, windowsills & skirting boards etc.
French polishing of woodwork.
Supporting other trades professionals to produce an excellent finish.
Other related tasks and dealing with all painting and decoration tasks as required.

To execute workmanship to a high standard and ensure it is carried out in strict compliance with health and safety work act.

Excellent skills and practical knowledge of all aspects of decorating.
Seasonal shift & on call rota.
Adhere to all company policies & procedures, particularly to health & safety.
Any other duties as and when required.
Knowledge/Experience/Skills/Abilities
Painting & Decorating qualifications - NVQ or City & Guilds.
Knowledge of current building materials and their uses.
Experience of special paint effects & French polishing.
General knowledge of Building Regulations.
Health & Safety and COSHH.
Fit & Healthy with the ability assemble and erect scaffolding, and to climb ladders.
Be able to follow specific instructions.
Have practical ability and manual skills.
Full Clean UK driving licence.
Significant proven experience.
Personal Attributes

Strong time management, organisation and planning skills.
High level of written and verbal communication skills across all levels.
Enthusiastic and self-motivated with the ability to use their initiative.
