Night Support Staff

Marlyn house are seeking a hardworking and professional person to join their dedicated team of support workers on nights.

The role will be for 2 to 3 nights per week with alternate weekends. The ideal person will be flexible and also have availability to complete overtime to cover sickness or annual leave.


We are ideally looking for someone who is level 3 qualified or willing to work towards, as we would like to the person to also be medication competency trained to enable them to work senior shifts on nights as needed.


The role includes but is not limited to:

  • personal care
- moving and handling
- light domestic duties
- completion of paperwork to document the service users nights
- assistance with continence care
- repositioning in line with service user needs and support plan
- safeguarding individuals against abuse
- reporting to care manager any issues
- adhering to policies and procedures, both local and national
- undertaking mandatory training ongoing
